Andy Diggle - the British writer who redefined Green Arrow at DC Comics, thrilled readers with an impressive Daredevil run at Marvel and scripted the critically acclaimed James Bond: Hammerhead, has reteamed with Hammerhead artist Luca Casalanguida to bring fans the next chapter in the James Bond series, entitled Kill Chain. The latest tale of international intrigue and espionage launched today (20th July 2017) and will feature six issues that will run through the end of 2017.
Issue #1 (July 2017):
When a counterespionage operation in Rotterdam goes catastrophically wrong, James Bond finds himself in the crosshairs of a plot to smash NATO. Someone is assassinating allied agents, and 007 is the next target in the kill chain. Having kept the peace for decades, the old alliance is collapsing, pitting MI6 against its former ally - the CIA! Dynamite Entertainment proudly presents the return of writer Andy Diggle (James Bond: Hammerhead, The Losers, Green Arrow: Year One) and artist Luca Casalanguida (James Bond: Hammerhead) as they plot the return of James Bond's oldest and deadliest foe: SMERSH!
Issue #2 (August 2017):
As tensions rise between MI6 and CIA, James Bond investigates the death of a fellow agent. Someone is smuggling military-grade weapons to European neo-Nazis, an arms pipeline stretching from the gutters of Munich to the upper echelons of Swiss high society. The trail will lead 007 to an old friend, a deadly betrayal, and an enigmatic art connoisseur named Chantal Chevalier.
Issue #3 (September 2017):
James Bond and the mysterious Chantal Chevalier go head-to-head at an elite auction house that hides a deadly secret. At stake is Bond's life - and the future of NATO. The Russian "active measures" unit SMERSH will stop at nothing to win this deadly game - but is 007 a player, or a pawn?
