The Academy honours No Time To Die and the James Bond 60th anniversary

Whilst the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday night will be remembered for Will Smith hitting Chris Rock, there were plenty of James Bond moments during the telecast.
As it did back in 2012, the Oscar ceremony honoured the legacy of the James Bond franchise hitting a notable anniversary - this time its 60th. Without any explanation or logic, the clip segment was introduced by three sports personalities.
'No Time To Die' lost Best Sound and Visual Effects categories to 'Dune,' much like at the BAFTA's earlier this month. EON will no doubt be looking hard at Denis Villeneuve, who had been the leading contender for Bond 25 until he bowed out of contention to make 'Dune' instead.
Next up, Billie Eilish performed the 'No Time To Die' title song live, again, as she had done at award shows since the song debuted two years ago. She was introduced, as ever, by Rami Malek.
The film would not go home empty-handed, though, as Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell won the Best Original Song award, ahead of its nearest competition 'Encanto.' This marks the third successive James Bond song to win the Best Original Song gong.
