How time flies. Ten years ago this week, the world got to see the first theatrical trailer of the Daniel Craig era. There had been a short teaser earlier, but the first real look at 'Casino Royale' was unleashed on September 7th, 2006.

As with most modern trailers, it packs in most of the story and shots from all the major scenes in two-and-a-half minutes. Looking back now, a lot of spoilers are revealed including Vesper's final moments.

Casino Royale (2006) Theatrical Trailer

The trailer ends with a clip of the world record breaking Aston Martin DBS barrel-roll. Unbeknownst to fans at the time, this irked Aston Martin no end. The stunt did require a significant air canon to make the car flip, but a small skirmish between Aston Martin and EON's publicity teams occurred behind the scenes as the luxury car maker did not want to have the public believe they made unsafe vehicles.
