Director Steven Soderbergh reveals his impasse with Bond bosses

Director Steven Soderbergh had been linked to helm a James Bond film during the Daniel Craig era, but the opportunity came and went without much reporting.
In an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast about the time he was under consideration for 007 duty, he said: "I love that world. We were at odds about some things that were important. We had some great conversations. It was fun to think about, but we just couldn’t... the last ten yards were, we just couldn’t do it, we couldn’t figure it out."
He would later team up with Craig anyway, but for 'Logan Lucky.'
Soderbergh has gone on the record that 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' is his favourite Bond film.
