Raoul (Emilio Echevarria)

Character

Emilio Echevarría plays "Raoul", a Cuban detective and sleeper agent. He meets with Bond when 007 visits Havana on the trail of Zao and the high-tech clinic.

The detective also owns a local cigar factory, which he and Bond visit whilst meeting for the first time in Havana.

Echevarría has filmed with the first unit in Cadiz, Spain (which doubles for the Cuban capital Havana in "Die Another Day"), and is scheduled for a month of filming in Pinewood studios.

The character was initially thought to be quite a small part, but the filming schedule would suggest he plays a major part in helping 007 overcome Zao and Moon.
