Raoul
(Emilio Echevarria)
Character
Emilio Echevarría plays "Raoul", a Cuban detective
and sleeper agent. He meets with Bond when 007 visits Havana on the trail of Zao
and the high-tech clinic. The detective also owns a local cigar factory,
which he and Bond visit whilst meeting for the first time in Havana. | | |
Echevarría has filmed with the first unit in Cadiz, Spain (which
doubles for the Cuban capital Havana in "Die Another Day"), and is scheduled
for a month of filming in Pinewood studios.
The character was initially
thought to be quite a small part, but the filming schedule would suggest he plays
a major part in helping 007 overcome Zao and Moon.
